Project Overview – Small-Scale GTL Plant | Turkmenistan

In 2021, Grup ADEL launched a small-scale Gas-to-Liquids (GTL) plant project in Turkmenistan, valued at approximately 15 million Euros. This initiative aims to supply a variety of hydrocarbon-based products to local factories and industries. Leveraging Turkmenistan’s abundant and cost-effective natural gas resources, the project is positioned to make a significant industrial impact in the region.

Scope of Work

Our involvement in this project includes:

• EPC Contracting:
  Managing the full Engineering, Procurement, and Construction phases to deliver a turnkey solution that meets all technical and operational requirements.

• Technology Transfer:
  Providing local teams with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively operate and maintain the plant.

• Equipment Supply:
  Procuring and delivering specialized, high-quality equipment tailored to the plant’s scale and production objectives, sourced from reputable global manufacturers.

Research & Development Oversight

Our Research and Development department continuously supervises the project, focusing on:

• Catalyst Optimization:
  Developing and refining catalyst formulations to maximize conversion efficiency and product yield.

• Process Improvement:
  Innovating process methodologies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve environmental performance.

• Technical Enhancements:
  Implementing ongoing improvements based on operational data and feedback to ensure the plant remains at the forefront of GTL technology.
